​​​​The expenses incurred when operating a shelter can be very expensive. Utilities, staff, stipends, lawn care and miscellaneous costs currently add up to approximately $2,000 per month. GUEST House of Hope primarily operates through cash donations, although we do accept donated items from businesses and individual donors that allow us to keep our organization operating. Items often donated include appliances, food, dishes & utensils to stock and furnish our kitchen; paper products, trash bags & laundry detergent; and items to be used for personal use, such as clothing, bedding, toiletries and menstrual care products. In addition, organizations and churches provide hot meals on regular occasions.

Due to lack of storage space, donors who wish to contribute are encouraged to contact GUEST House of Hope about current needs.
